چکیده
We present a new family of relativistic lattice kinetic schemes for the efficient simulation flows in both strongly-interacting (fluid) and weakly-interacting (rarefied gas) regimes. The method can also deal with massless massive particles, thereby encompassing ultra-relativistic mildly-relativistic regimes alike. computational performance across aforementioned is discussed detail, along prospects future applications Quark-Gluon Plasma, electron graphene systems astrophysical contexts.

DKE: a fast numerical solver for the 3-D relativistic bounce-averaged electron Drift Kinetic Equation
A new original code for solving the 3-D relativistic and bounce-averaged electron drift kinetic equation is presented. It designed for the current drive problem in tokamak with an arbitrary magnetic equilibrium. This tool allows self-consistent calculations of the bootstrap current in presence of other external current sources. RF current drive for arbitrary type of waves may be used. Several m...
متن کاملRelativistic kinetic theory of magnetoplasmas
Recently, an increasing interest in astrophysical as well as laboratory plasmas has been manifested in reference to the existence of relativistic flows, related in turn to the production of intense electric fields in magnetized systems [1]. Such phenomena require their description in the framework of a consistent relativistic kinetic theory, rather than on relativistic MHD equations, subject to...
متن کاملA Fast Fluid Simulator
i ABSTRACT This document presents a new implementation of the Smoothed Particles Hydrodynamics algorithm using DirectX 11 and DirectCompute. The main goal of this document is to present to the reader an alternative solution to the largely studied and researched problem of fluid simulation. Most other solutions have been implemented using the NVIDIA CUDA framework; however, the proposed solution...
متن کاملFast lattice Boltzmann solver for relativistic hydrodynamics.
A lattice Boltzmann formulation for relativistic fluids is presented and numerically validated through quantitative comparison with recent hydrodynamic simulations of relativistic fluids. In order to illustrate its capability to handle complex geometries, the scheme is also applied to the case of a three-dimensional relativistic shock wave, generated by a supernova explosion, impacting on a mas...
متن کاملRT-level fast fault simulator
In this paper a new fast fault simulation technique is presented for calculation of fault propagation through HLPs (High Level Primitives). ROTDDs (Reduced Ordered Ternary Decision Diagrams) are used to describe HLP modules. The technique is implemented in the HTDD RTlevel fault simulator. The simulator is evaluated with some ITC99 benchmarks. A hypothesis is proved that a test set coverage of ...
